Quench Power’s mission is to accelerate the pace of decarbonisation in the electricity industry, whilst driving down total system costs, through the provision of a range of innovative demand response related products and services.

The company was formed by graduates (Eamonn Boland, Paul Anderson) of the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures at Imperial College London and by a graduate of the MSc in Environmental Economics & Climate Change programme at the London School of Economics (LSE), Steve Buryk.

The initial concept was evaluated by a team of Industry and Investor experts at the UCL/London Business School Cleantech Challenge Business Plan competition in 2012, and made it through to the global finals.
